Farfalle al salmone is a classic, tasty, quick and light pasta dish. A first course that you can make with the pasta format you prefer, in addition to the farfalle you can also use penne.
Farfalle with salmon are a first course of fish typical of the Italian cuisine of the 80s; a beloved and always appreciated classic based on pasta, penne or farfalle creamed and seasoned with smoked salmon and caviar; a mix of fresh and quality ingredients that thanks to all the tricks turns into an exceptional dish! A delicious creamy pasta perfect to pair with some Pinot grigio, Sauvignon or Chardonnay.

Farfalle al salmone
Description
The recipe for pasta with smoked salmon is among the most popular in Italian cuisine, because in a short time and with little technique it allows you to bring to the table a dish loved by all. Among the most commonly used formats are farfalle and penne with salmon and cream, but also tagliatelle with salmon with cream and caviar.
In this recipe I have used smoked salmon but it is possible to prepare pasta with fresh salmon.
Ingredients
Instructions
Pour the onion into a large pan (it will be used to cream the pasta) add 3 โ 4 tablespoons of oil and, if you like, also a teaspoon of butter.
Add the smoked salmon and kinda break it up with a wooden spoon.
Add the cream and let it thicken a little.
Add the caviar and parsley. Turn off and set aside.
Cook the pasta al dente, then drain it or add it to the condiment using a slotted spoon.
In this way the pasta water will make the sauce creamier.Mix the pasta well with the salmon and cream sauce. Then plate and serve piping hot. Buon appetito!
Note
Instead of farfalle, you can choose the pasta you prefer: pennette, penne, but also fresh tagliatelle pasta! The creaminess of the smoked salmon sauce will wrap and season your pasta to perfection!
